2nd Day Added for Jewelry Appraising 4/1 & 4/2

In addition to our scheduled appraisal day, Thurs. April 1st , 10 am – 8 pm, we have added Fri. April 2nd, 10 am – 6 pm. We have received a lot of calls and emails for people wishing to get items appraised. Since we added that extra day, we are able to add more pieces to our schedule. If you need jewelry, watches or silverware appraised, A.P.Praisers are the ones for the job!

Jewelry Appraising – 2nd day added

Hello again everyone.

We had a great amount of requests this last month for appraisals. There were so many that we needed to add a second day in order to accommodate everyone. For August we will have 2 days for appraising. Thursday, August 6th (open 10 am - 8 pm) and Friday, August 7th (open 10 am -6 pm) are the two days available to bring pieces in for appraisal. We are able to take in drop offs and there are a few more time slots open on either day, so it would be best to act fast. It’s all on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cost is still only $35 a piece. If you can’t make it in August, we will have appraisals again in October.

Jewelry appraising will be taking place here at our store on Thursday, August 6th. We have several people already signed up, but there is still room. The appraiser, Vince Lash, will be here from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. doing appraisals. Update on jewelry appraising:

Last appraisal day on Friday, June 5Th, we were booked with appointments all day long; some of these even went past our closing time of 6 pm. We have decided to move jewelry appraising to the first Thursday of every other month. We are open every Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm. By moving to Thursdays we hope that it will give you a greater oppurtunity to come in and have your pieces appraised. Also, if your not able to make it in, you can drop your pieces off in advance for them to  be finished that day. Click below for new flyer!

Jewelry Appraising

Recently, we’ve be receiving a lot of phone calls and inquiries asking if we appraise jewelry. We used to do appraisals up to about 3 or 4 years ago; but with the amount of custom manufacturing and repair jobs increasing, it became too much for us to continue doing them. Since then, we’ve had an independent jewelry appraiser come to our shop to do appraisals for our customers. Our appraiser, Vincent Lash, is a Graduate Gemologist; his company is called A.P.Praisers Inc. Vince has been a family friend for several years; he’s very knowledgeable in his field and pleasant to work with.

Vince comes to our shop the first Friday of every other month. Our last ‘Appraisal Day’ was Friday, April 3rd. The next date he comes will be June 5th. He’s normally available for appointments from 10 am to 6 pm, our regular operating hours. You have 2 choices for having your items appraised…

1. You can get an appointment to bring in your items and he appraises them while you watch and wait. All we need is your name & phone number.
2. OR you can drop off your items anytime before the appraisal day; your items will be appraised and finished by the end of the day. (This is a great option if you aren’t able to get in on that exact date. Your items and appraisals can even be picked up later in the week)

If you wish to get an appointment, we just need your name & phone number. About a week or two before the appraisal date, we will forward your info to the appraiser. They will give you a call to set up an appointment.
